Cancel Policy

Policies are up to the agent's discretion and vary from situation to situation. Use the policy as a guideline for what you would like to do for the guest.

  • Camps can be canceled with a resort credit in the full amount paid or a 90% refund if requested five days prior to the start date of the camp. Within the five-day period, a 90% resort credit may be issued.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued on or after the start date of camp. Please connect with or direct guests to speak with the camp leaders if further consideration is needed.
  • Campers who become injured during their session may be given a pro-rated refund or credit depending on the situation and based on how many days they have attended.

Details

  • Participants must wear a full-face helmet with eye protection (goggles or glasses), gloves, elbow pads, and kneepads. If you are renting, you will need to provide your own gloves and eye protection; everything else comes with your rental purchase.
  • To purchase the bike rental add-on with your camp, simply add the camp to your cart, and the option to add the rental will pop up automatically.
  • Each day begins with  a warm up and skills training. Then the group rides together for the rest of the morning, breaks for lunch and rides again for the afternoon, until pick up time.
  • Groups are formed by current skill level, goals for the week, and age. We do our best to accommodate campers riding with their friends, but we prioritize skill development and the level of challenge in a group. If two friends want to ride together, they will need to ride in the group with the lower-level rider.
  • We have space to store personal and rental bikes in a separate camp storage spot. This area is locked daily at 4:30, so if you plan to ride after camp and wish to store your bike in the camp shop, you will need to be in by 4:30. There will also be space to leave helmets, pads, etc.
  • As much as these camps are about leveling up your child’s skills on the trail, it is so much more than that. Campers build confidence in themselves, learn life skills, and grow as an individual all while having the time of their lives.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other factors.

Check-In

Staff will be on-site directing you to the correct location beginning at 8:45 a.m.

If you bring your own bike on the first day of camp, please put it in a rack outside the base lodge and proceed to check-in. Make sure your camper knows which bike is theirs! If you are renting a bike at the resort, proceed directly to check-in.

All sessions will check-in on the 2nd floor of Snowshed Base Lodge.

During the day, our camp space is a parent-free zone. Please do not enter the camp room during the day to check in on your camper. If you are looking to say hello, please let a staff member know, and we will bring your child out to say hi. We open the camp room at 3:30 p.m. for any parents to help grab their camper's gear and check-out at the end of the day.

Self Release Policy (not ready yet)

Delete

A parent doesn't need to be at pickup

Self Release Form

Many bike campers are old enough and families feel comfortable allowing them to self-release at the end of the day. This means no adult needs be present at the end of the day for the camper to leave camp. Only campers 12 years old and older are eligible for self-release. All campers must spend the entire day with their camp groups and may not leave early. After 4:00 p.m., they are allowed to dismiss themselves from camp. If you would like to allow your child to self-release, please complete the self-release policy agreement. If you have any questions, please email us or ask someone at camp check-in.

How to Book

Online

Guest will need to follow this link to book their camp session online.

To purchase the bike rental add-on with your camp, guest will need to simply add the camp to their cart, and the option to add the rental will pop up automatically.

RTP

In order to book through RTP, you must select the start date of the camp (Mondays in the summer). After selecting Mountain Biking in the drop-down, you will find a section for camps. Within that, you have the option to sell 3 or 5-day camps. If the camper is not a pass holder you need to add on the appropriate lift access (sold within the camp menu as well) and add a discounted bike rental if needed.

How to switch from a 3-day to a 5-day

If a guest wishes to extend their camp from a 3 day to a 5 day you will want to

  1. Return the 5 day product either by
    1. Action returning it in order processing
    2. Finding the transaction ID (in customer manager) and returning the 3 day product in the Return/Refund Transaction section of One Resort Tools.
  2. Pulling the 3 day camp product that you are returning over to Sales Transaction
  3. Setting the correct Start Date for the camp (must be for the Monday that camp starts even if the week has already started)
  4. Adding the 5-day camp product to the cart (attaching the guest, filling out any required info)
  5. Charging the difference in price for the camps under payment
  6. Completing the order.
  7. Please note: if the guest also purchased lift tickets and/or rentals for this week you will need to update that info as well

*Guests who extend their camps will not be eligible for the early booking rate, even if the original sale was done early season.

FAQ

I have a seasonal rental, can I reserve my bike rental for camp?

Yes! We have changed our policy so those who have previously purchased the VT Youth Seasonal Bike Rental may pre-register a rental for camp to ensure they will get a bike. We will communicate this with the guests so they can alert us if they need to use their seasonal rental for camp.

How to Sell:

You must sell the bike camp rental product when pre-registering for camp so we have accurate bike inventory for the week. To do so, sell the bike camp rental for the appropriate amount of days, go to discounts and select the guest service open discount and discount it 100%. When asked for the discount reason please note it is for the seasonal rental.

Delete

Booking early season pricing after the fact...

This year we will not be honoring the early season rate for any camp related product when booked or changed after the early-rate deadline. There are no exceptions to this for any product (lift, rental, lesson).
