Details
Chargerback is the new lost and found system implemented resort-wide starting the Summer of 2022. We will be able to streamline processes with this simplified way to report and track down lost and found items. It will also allow us to ship items more efficiently using their included shipment methods.
FAQ
How do I Send-A-Link to Report a Lost Item?
- If a guest wants to report a lost item, you can send them a link to enter all details of the lost item on their own.
- Select the “Send-A-Link" tab at the top right of the screen.
- You will be prompted to enter the guest’s phone number or email address.
- They will be sent a link prompting them to enter all information necessary. This will sync with the Chargerback system.
- A lost item will pop up in the system once the guest completes the information.
How do i enter a Found Item?
- Select a category of an item or select one of the quick-pick options labeled by the icons.
- Select the location found on the mountain under the “area found” drop-down and, if able, enter the specific location below in the “Where Item Was Found” option.
- Enter login ID under “Found by ID”.
- If cash is involved enter the amount found. If the item is of high value or a receipt of purchase is with the item, check the appropriate box.
- Select where the item is being held under “storage Location” and provide the date the item was found.
- Save the found item and make sure there are no suggested matches under the “Suggested Matches” tab on the left of the screen.
How do I enter a Lost Item?
- Select a category of the item or select one of the quick-pick options labeled by the icons.
- Enter the date it was found and under “area lost” select one of the drop-down options. If able, enter the specific location below in the “Where Item Was Lost” option.
- If cash is involved enter the amount found. If the item is of high value or a receipt of purchase is with the item, check the appropriate box.
- Enter as much information about the guest as possible including email, phone number, and shipping address.
- Save details of the lost item.
How do I locate a lost item in the system?
- Under the “Items for Review” tab at the top, select the “Show Lost Reports” option.
- Details of all lost items will be listed and the information of the person who lost the item.
- To select a lost item, click the item number under the item number/type column.
How do I locate a found item in the system?
- Under the “Items for Review” tab at the top, select the “Show Found Reports” option.
- Details of all found items will be listed as well as the information of where and when the item was found.
- To select a found item, click the item number under the item number/type column.
What to do if a guest requests we ship a found item?
If a guest requests we ship an item that we found please have them contact lostandfound@killington.com so it can get to the right people. The item should have previously been reported as lost in our system along with all of the guest's contact info, but make them aware they need to provide as much detail to their email as possible to ensure we ship the correct item to the correct location.

- When a found item is returned to a guest make sure, next to the Status section, to change the description to the appropriate category. Most likely, you will select line 10: Found Item Returned to Customer.
- We have an option to upload a picture of the found item. This may be helpful when keeping items organized and knowing what we have and don’t have when similar items are in the system. We also have the option to upload a picture of the item so we can send it to a guest inquiring about a lost item.
- When looking for an item, you can select the search tab on the left side of the screen and enter known info to pull up a specific item you may be looking for.
Lost and Found Locations/Contacts
There are three major locations where lost and found items are stored and managed at the resort. Each base area will have their own designated lost and found pick up/drop off locations for items to be turned in. However, items will eventually be filtered and managed through the following three locations. If you or your guest have questions regarding their lost and found item please have them contact lostandfound@killington.com.
