Searching for Rooms

  • When searching for rooms to book, it is most important to enter the check-in date as well as the check-out date (or the number of nights staying).
  • It is also important to enter the number of adults and children staying even when booking for a Killington-owned property. The number of people is needed for many third-party properties to determine pricing, so it is good practice to always enter this information.
  • You may ask the guest if they have any other lodging preferences such as location, number of bedrooms, pricing, etc. however this info is not required.

Search Details

  • Once you have made your search, there are a few details to pay attention to that will give you good information to relay to the guest.
  • The quantity (Qty) drop-down will tell you about how many units of this type are available. This number is not always exact to how many are open to book, but if you see it in this list, you can almost always guarantee there is at least one unit available.
  • If the guest has a room preference that you do not see in this list check SMS or contact your SOD as it may be available, but not listed in Inntopia due to low quantity or the state of the room.
  • If the guest would like specific information about the unit itself, select where the line item is highlighted in blue and underlined.

  • The "view calendar" option allows you to see a quick snapshot of the unit's availability for the future.

  • The camera icons (located to the left of the unit type and the unit location) show you general images of the unit the guest is interested in booking. The picture will not be specific to that room itself.
  • Selecting the nightly rate price will break down what the price is per night in the case of a multi-day booking. The price listed in the original search result will be the average of all the nights.

Searching for Guests

  • If searching for a guest, locate the customer box. You may search for a guest using their first and last name, email address, or home phone number.
  • Once you have entered the info, click find and any guests matching your search info will pull up under search results.
  • If the guest does not have a profile in Inntopia's system, you may select "Create a New Guest" and enter the appropriate information.
  • To select the guest's profile hit select next to the correct line item and then the guest's information will populate in the customer box where you initially searched. Once this has happened you may update the guest's profile by hitting edit.
