Cashless Procedure
For safety and efficiency, Killington is a cashless resort. We accept all major credit cards and Google, Samsung, and Apple Pay. Reverse ATMs will be available at Snowshed, K-1, the Grand Hotel, and Pico base lodges.
FAQ
How do the reverse ATMs work? Is the card specific to Killington/Pico?
Guests can deposit cash into the machine and receive a Visa gift card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted in the United States, even outside of Killington/Pico.
DeleteIs there a min/max that can be exchanged per card?
You can exchange as little as $1 and a maximum of $500 per card.
DeleteDo the reserve ATMs charge a fee?
No. Guests will not be charged a fee; the resort absorbs the cost. However, there are monthly fees assessed against balances on cards that go inactive for 90 days or more.
DeleteCan staff still accept cash tips?
Yes! Please note, now that we do not have access to cash, bills cannot be broken.
DeleteWill third-party vendors accept cash? (Rollin rooster, waffle cabin, event vendors, etc.)
Killington is not mandating that their third-party vendors go cashless and will leave that decision up to them.
DeleteWhy was my gift card declined when there was money remaining?
If the amount of purchase is greater than the balance remaining on the gift card, the guest must tell the cashier the amount remaining on the gift card so the cashier can enter the amount in the transaction. The balance on the gift card can be obtained by calling the number on the back of the card or it can be checked at the Reverse ATM machines.
