Looking Up a Customer Profile RTP
Accessing customer information in RTP can be tedious due to the number of profiles in our system. Using these steps will help you narrow down your search results and minimize mistakes.
1. One of the first steps should be to search the guest by their name (first, last). However, depending on their name or how many profiles we have it can pull up a varying amount of results.
2. No matter how many search results you get, always confirm the information that pulls up on their profile so we can guarantee it is the correct guest profile. Usually, the easiest way to determine the correct profile is by the guest's date of birth, but their email also works if it is listed.
3. Make sure, once you've selected the guest's profile, that all the information matches up to what they have or that all the information is up to date. (Phone number, email, address). To update you can click on the bolded title of the item, or delete the item and select add new.
4. If you cannot find the guest's profile by searching their name, you can search by their date of birth, email address or phone number in the same search criteria box. Sometimes we have errors in the way the guest's name was spelled which can make the search process a little harder.
5. If your search results are still pulling up too many profiles to navigate through, you can refine the criteria by entering two forms of information. For example, if you search for a common name (ex. John Smith) you may get a result with hundreds of profiles making it hard to access the correct one. To narrow it down, just under the search criteria box you will find Refine Search where you can select the type of information you would like to also enter and then type it into the box below. Then only the guests name associated with the additional information you entered will come up.
