Ability: first-time mountain bikers, ages 6+

Available: Daily, June - September

Available Sessions: 2-hour lesson, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily

• Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance of lesson meeting time for ticket pick-up and fitting of rental equipment.

Lesson Meeting Location: Outside the Snowshed rental shop exit, to the left.

Rentals and Lift Access: Program includes lift ticket and equipment rental during the lesson time. For full day access select Full Day Upgrade during check out.

• Lessons are available for ages 6+
• Pre-purchased rates are priced dynamically based on how far in advance you book.
• The package includes a 2-hour lesson (available at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily), bike rental, protective gear (full face helmet, knee and elbow pads and bike shoes).
  • *A full day upgrade is available, which gives you lift & trail access to the Snowshed Quad, Ramshead Quad and K-1 Gondola for the rest of the day after your lesson. Available for morning lessons only.
• Minors under the age of 18 are required to wear knee pads, gloves, eye protection and full face helmets in lessons. Elbow pads are suggested.
• It is strongly suggested that all adults wear knee and elbow pads, full face helmets, full finger gloves and eye protection
• Our Experience Downhill  Package includes all the equipment you need and provides instruction on all the basics for first-timers - from bike handling to reading the terrain. We'll start out on our skills track to get participants comfortable on the bikes before heading up the Snowshed Express Quad for some trail experience.

How it Works:

• Invite a Friend: Share your passion for mountain biking by inviting a friend to purchase the Experience Downhill package. It's a great opportunity for them to join you in the adventure.
• Your Friend Buys the Package: Once your friend buys the Experience Downhill package at least 2 days before the planned adventure, they’re all set for the excitement.
• Get a Free Ticket Voucher: As a thank-you for bringing a new rider into the fold, a voucher for a free Bike Park lift ticket will be loaded onto the purchaser's account, which they will then share with you via email. The voucher must be redeemed online within 5 days from the date of your friend’s lesson purchase. During online redemption, you'll be able to choose to use the ticket for any date through the end of the current summer season.
• Hit the Trails Together: Use your free ticket to join your friend on the trails. Share your expertise, enjoy the ride, and double the fun without doubling the cost.

We ask that, when possible, this promotion be booked online to track the amount of comp ticket redeemed as well as getting all waivers and info from guests. 

If it needs to be booked over the phone, you may sell the voucher product to the person who is taking the lesson. They can then access to voucher via their online account to send to the friend receiving the comp ticket. The comp ticket must be redeemed online. 

How to Sell

For the call center: Select the correct lesson product in the tree>fill out any required data>attach a customer>move to the general tab. Override the pricing to match the rate listed online for the appropriate date of the lesson. 

Cancel Policy

Date specific products may be canceled with a full refund available by calling 800-621-6867 through 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the start date. Cancellations requested after this time are available through 10:00 a.m. of start date of the ticket via a resort cancellation credit valid for one year + two weeks towards a future purchase. There are no refunds or credits available for no shows or cancellation requests received after 10:00 a.m. on the start date of the ticket.
