K-Cash

Please follow the same procedures for K-Cash in the case of employee use ONLY.

Details

Purpose

The Brighten Your Day Card empowers you to perform random acts of kindness and solve guest frustrations quickly and easily. Its purpose is to turn an unpleasant circumstance into a positive experience, allowing you the opportunity to create a memory of outstanding service. The BYDC is valued at $10 and may be used to purchase a lift ticket or products at a Killington-owned food court/restaurant.

Guidelines

Below are some examples in which issuing a BYDC is appropriate:

  • Guest “got the runaround” when trying to purchase a product, redeem an offer or solve a problem
  • Guest was given misinformation about a product or service
  • Guest was denied lift access due to a hot listed ticket or pass, which should not have been blocked
  • Guest has been treated disrespectfully by an employee
  • Guest is having an all-around bad day
  • Guest's personal ski/snowboard equipment is missing

Procedure

BYDC cards are to be issued only to guests. Staff may NOT issue BYDC cards to employees or ambassadors. A BYDC can be transferrable and is simply a coupon card a guest can use to reduce or pay for Killington products.

To Redeem:

When provided with a BYDC (K-Cash) you will go to payments at the bottom of your screen in RTP and select the appropriate payment type. These are not scannable items so you will just enter the amount in the box and hit apply. Then, follow the information below to drop the media.

  • Each drop should be bagged. Please no loose redeemable media.
  • Each drop should be for a singular location
  • Each drop should include a filled-out Media card (the blue card).
  • Drops can be made as frequently as you see fit, but it is important that all redeemable media must be dropped by the last day of the month.
  • Please do not cross months when dropping media

            1) Pull up this sheet and grab a code and mark column b with your name

            2) Fill out this form so the guest will get the virtual card emailed to them

            3) Cards are valid until 10/1/26 and guest can present email with barcode to staff onsite to get discount
