Applying Discounts in RTP

Through the Individual Product
To apply a discount to an individual product:
- Select the product you intend to discount.
- Once the customer is attached to the product, select the discount tab on the left of the product box.

To apply a set rate discount, select the intended discount, and hit apply.
- It may prompt you to insert a pass number. Insert the guest's RFID number and hit update.
- OK.

If you are applying an open discount, hit the intended discount and type in the amount you wish to discount the product. (Either a $ or % amount). Apply and then OK.
To an entire Transaction
To apply the same discount to an entire order:
- Attach all products to the transaction/order.
- In the upper portion of the screen, click "Advanced Options".
- Select "Apply Discounts"
- Select the correct intended discount to add. Some will be open discounts where you may fill out the appropriate discount amount and some will be set rates that will apply depending on what the discount is for.
- If it asks to override discounts, select the box
- Hit apply and OK
