Season Pass

Each ambassador receives a season pass for yourself and for your eligible dependents. Please refer to the “Ambassador Dependent Eligibility” page at the end of this document for more details. When you are using your pass to ski/ride, you are subject to all terms and conditions of the pass. While skiing or snowboarding on your own time, you may not wear a company uniform. Your pass is non-transferable; use of your pass by another individual will lead to revocation of all privileges and is grounds for termination. Should you exit the program for any reason, your pass will be deactivated immediately. 

Uphill Travel

Ambassadors and eligible dependents qualify for a complimentary Uphill Travel Pass. The pass can be picked up at any ticket window or at K-1 Guest Services. Completion of an Assumption of Risk online through your killington.com account is required before picking up your Uphill Travel pass.

POWDR Reciprocal Privileges

Resorts in the POWDR Corp family offer complimentary skiing to ambassadors and your eligible dependents. If you wish to ski/ride at another POWDR resort on your days off, you need to make advance arrangements.

• Place a request online via the Reciprocal Request form with the resort that you are planning on visiting, the dates of your visit, and the names of any dependents that will be joining you. You must submit a Reciprocal Request form for each individual day, for each person traveling. Requests made more than two weeks out from your visit will not be approved.
• HR will verify with the ambassador program manager that the ambassador is in good standing and is not scheduled for the time period requested and that the dependents are eligible.
• HR will produce letters for each day of skiing or riding upon request. Letters that are approved will be emailed to the ambassador’s email address indicated on the Reciprocal Request online form. Ambassadors may print these letters on your own or request copies from HR if without access to a printer.
• NOTE: A physical letter is required upon redeeming at the visiting location. A digital copy may not be accepted.
• The ambassador will present the letters and your valid 2023/2024 Killington Resort & Pico Mountain season pass to the visiting resort’s ticket window to exchange for lift tickets.
• Remember – you are a representative of Killington Resort & Pico Mountain, so be professional and courteous. This program is valid for the following locations: Boreal Ridge, Eldora Mountain Resort, Mt. Bachelor, Copper Mountain Resort, Soda Springs, Snowbird Resort, SilverStar, and Woodward Park City. 

Blackout periods apply during peak periods such as holidays or special events. Eligible dependents do not need to be accompanied by an ambassador when redeeming letter. 

Industry Reciprocal Privileges

Many Eastern ski areas offer discounted or complimentary skiing to ambassadors, but NOT your dependents. (Dependents are only eligible for POWDR reciprocal privileges.) Other ski areas are not obligated to issue any complimentary or discounted tickets. Many ski areas only accept reciprocal skiers/riders during mid-week, non-holiday periods. What you need to do:

Complimentary Lessons

Ambassadors are offered complimentary group lessons on select Fridays, usually later in the season. The program manager coordinates this with ski school management and will announce these dates when they become available. They are first-come-first-serve through online sign-ups, so make sure to check your email regularly if you are interested in securing a spot. Dependents are not eligible.

Discount/Comp Tickets

Ambassadors in their first three years of service receive two complimentary ticket vouchers per winter to give away to friends and family. After three years of service, ambassadors receive four complimentary ticket vouchers per winter to give away to friends and family. In addition to these comp tickets, all ambassadors receive 10 discounted ticket vouchers per winter to give away to friends and family. The pricing structure is as follows:

LTS/LTR Packages

Ambassadors have two complimentary learn to ski/ride packages to give away. Package includes a lesson, rental equipment, and a limited Learning Area lift ticket. This offer is valid for ages four and up. Packages are available Sunday through Friday at Killington Resort only on a space available basis (excluding peak periods). Please refer to the “Voucher Redemption” video linked on the Volgistics homepage for instructions on how to redeem. Once your friend/family member has the voucher number, they can call Central Reservations to book.

Discounted Lodging

Friends & family lodging discounts are available at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. The Friends & family lodging discount will range from 25% to 40%, depending on the reservation dates. For example, during peak/holiday periods and some weekends when our lodging properties are typically very full, the discount will be 25%; mid-week during non-peak periods with low occupancy, 40%. At the time that the reservation is booked, a one-night advance deposit will need to be collected to confirm the reservation. Food Discounts

You will receive a 60% discount off the regular price in many food service areas for you and your eligible dependents consumption only! It is your responsibility to hand your ambassador pass (with the ID sticker) to the cashier PRIOR to ringing the purchase. No discount will be given unless your ambassador pass is given to the cashier for verification.

Eligible food service areas are: Base Lodge Cafeterias, The Peak, The Clubhouse Grill, Jerk Shack, Beastro Food Truck, Subie Shack, Preston’s Restaurant, and The Wobbly Barn. 

Some restrictions apply: When anticipated business levels warrant, the resort will restrict employee and volunteer/ambassador access to the Peak and K-1 Lodges between 11:30am and 1:30pm; this will be communicated by the program manager. The Clubhouse Bar & Grill discount is available 7 days a week, non-holiday. Preston’s and Wobbly discounts are valid Sunday through Thursday, non-holiday. The Peak does not offer the $4 soup deal or free beverage. 

There are no discounts available to ambassadors or dependents at the Ledgewood Yurt. 

$4 Soup Deal: Ambassadors are able to purchase a bowl of soup, chowder, or chili for just $4 from any of the base lodge cafeterias while on-duty. 

Free Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, or Fountain Beverage: Ambassadors are able to enjoy one of these drinks per day while on-duty, free of charge. Does not include packaged sodas, waters, sports drinks, juices, or the like.

Alcohol Discounts

Your ambassador pass identifies you as eligible for 50% off on alcoholic beverages (25% discount on bottled wine). This discount is only available in the locations and at the times specified in the Food Discount section above. Please note the following policies:

• While clocked in, you MAY NOT sit at a table with anyone consuming alcohol, even if you are not yourself.
• Special pricing is valid for the entire round of drinks for your party; however, the intent of this program is not for ambassadors to purchase discounted drinks for Killington Resort or Pico Mountain customers. Misuse in that manner or any other manner may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and compromise our ability to offer this program going forward.
• In order to enjoy this program, your workday or shift must be completed, or you must be on a day off. The consumption of or being under the influence of alcohol is prohibited during working hours or when reporting for work, will not be tolerated, and is grounds for immediate termination.
• Company uniforms or nametags may not be worn when drinking alcoholic beverages on our premises after working hours.
• Vermont liquor laws strictly forbid the purchase and consumption of alcohol by individuals less than 21 years of age. 
• While in our establishments, we understand it is a time to have fun, but it is still important to maintain a level of professionalism. The bartender has the discretion to determine when to discontinue service to any patron. 
• When you leave the company, your ambassador pass as well as any dependent cards will be de-activated on your last day of work and this privilege will cease. 
• This program does not apply to any Banquets, Weddings, or Conference functions you may be attending at Killington. 
• Dependent passes will not be able to redeem 50% on alcoholic beverages

Retail

A 40% off discount is offered to ambassadors and their eligible dependents on retail purchases. Must show ambassador pass.

Pico Fitness Center

Ambassadors are eligible for a free 30-day trial membership at the Pico Fitness Center. After that, you are eligible for 50% all monthly membership prices. Ambassador dependents are not eligible for the free 30-day trial membership, but receive the 50% discount on monthly membership prices. Ambassadors and their dependents that choose not to purchase a Pico Fitness Center monthly membership can utilize the facilities for $6+tax each day. To redeem, please visit the Pico Fitness Center front desk. Be prepared to present your ambassador pass.

Potter Brothers

50% off to ambassadors and eligible dependents for any services. 

• Season tune - $129. One piece of equipment can be tuned each week. 
• Demos midweek rate: $30. Demos with a high-performance boot: $35. No weekends/holidays.

Eligible Dependents

Spouse, meaning legally married spouse. 

• Domestic Partnership– Defined as: 
  • Each party is the sole domestic partner of the other; 
  • Each partner is at least eighteen (18) years of age or older; 
  • Both parties currently share a common legal residence and have shared said residence for at the previous six (6) months; 
  • Neither party is married, a party to a Civil Union, or related to the other by adoption or blood to a degree of closeness that would bar marriage/Civil Union in the state in which they legally reside; 
  • Both parties are in a relationship of mutual support, welfare, caring, and commitment and intend to remain in such a relationship in the indefinite future; 
  • The parties are jointly responsible for basic living expenses (basic living expenses are defined as the cost of basic food, shelter, and any other expenses of the common household; the partners need not contribute equally or jointly to the payment of these expenses as long as they agree that both are responsible for them.) 
• Dependent children under 18 - A child of the ambassador including natural child, legally adopted child, step child, or child for whom legal guardianship has been granted. 
• Dependent children 18 and over - Natural and legally adopted children of the ambassador who are full-time college students, aged 19-24.

Not Eligible Dependents

• Significant others not defined as a Domestic Partnership (eligibility shown above); 
• In-Laws of any kind; 
• Parents; Brothers or Sisters; Aunts, Uncles or Cousins; 
• Grandparents or grandchildren (unless they are your dependent); 
• Children in the temporary care of an ambassador; Any ambassador found to be in violation of this standard may be subject to discipline up to and including termination.
