How to Sell
At the window, we are encouraging guests to make all purchases ONLINE. We do have the capability to sell a lift ticket at the window if necessary; however, please make the guest aware this will be a courtesy and the next time they have to go online. Please try to assist the guest with the online process on their phone prior to selling the ticket yourself.
When selling a ticket over the phone or in advance refer to the ticket calendar online for the appropriate discount percentage. The link to the calendar can be found here. In the discount box in RTP type in the appropriate discount % depending on the day, the ticket is valid.
Example:
If the guest wants to purchase a ticket for the 12th of November you would look at the calendar for that date, and find the % discount under the listed price. Then, in the discount tab within the ticket product details, you would enter the same % listed online and apply. In theory, the same ticket price should populate in RTP and allow you to sell at the same rate.

TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM KILLINGTON RESORT/PICO MOUNTAIN
Prior to 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lift ticket or rental start date, tickets or rentals may be cancelled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit. For example, a ticket or rental starting on a Saturday is eligible for a 90% refund or 100% lift ticket/rental credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Friday.
After that time period, tickets or rentals may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily (even if they have been used to test conditions) for a 100% lift ticket/rental credit equal to the value of the ticket for that day or remaining future days on a multi-day ticket. No refunds or credits are available after 10:00 a.m. for same day or past day tickets.
There are no cancellations available or credits issued for direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., K-Tickets) which have not yet been used or complimentary tickets which have a $0 value.
Visit a ticket window, complete our online form, or call us at 800-621-6867 to cancel your tickets prior to 10:00 a.m.
To determine a credit amount on a multi-day ticket or rental we divide the number of days being cancelled by the total number of days the ticket or rental is valid and multiply that by the price paid for the ticket. For example, if cancelling one day of a three-day ticket, 1 divided by 3 equals .33 and therefore 33% of the original ticket price will be the amount of the cancellation credit.
This policy applies to tickets purchased directly from Killington Resort either on-site, online at killington.com or through our call center. It does not apply to products purchased from a third party.
If canceling a season pass or Ikon Pass bring-a-friend ticket, the voucher is not re-instated for another use in the future. The use of that bring a friend voucher is forfeited.
Fast Tracks cannot be cancelled; no refunds or credits are available.
TICKETS PURCHASED FROM A THIRD PARTY
Tickets may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily for a $79 lift ticket/rental credit valid towards a future lift ticket purchase directly from Killington Resort/Pico Mountain.
Lift ticket/rental credits are valid towards a future lift ticket or rental purchase and expire one year + two weeks from the date of cancellation. For example, a credit issued on December 24, 2020 is valid through January 7, 2022.
There are no cancellations available or credits issued for third party direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., Ski Shop or Ski Council tickets) which have not yet been used.
Visit a ticket window, complete our online form, or call us at 800-621-6867 to cancel your tickets prior to 10:00 a.m.
DeleteFAQ
How do I know what discount to give a guest for a past date?
If a guest is eligible for a prepurchase discount on their lift tickets when they meant to purchase a ticket on a previous date please refer to the excel doc below.
For example:
- Guest comes to the window and says they did not have the option to buy lift ticket as part of their lodging. They would like to receive the discount they would have gotten at time of booking their lodging.
- Guest booked a 2 day ticket on 11/24 for 12/30, they saw that the weather is going to be great that week and want to upgrade to a 3 day ticket but would like to receive the discount they would have received on 11/24.
- Guest has had problems logging into their account and now the ticket price has gone up.
How do guests get the free Child (6&under) or Super Senior (80+) tickets?
Child (6 & under) and Super Senior (80+) lift tickets are complimentary but must be processed online. Upon arrival at the resort, you must proceed to an open ticket window with the user(s) of the child and/or super senior lift tickets for in-person validation. Child and Super Senior lift tickets may not be picked up from a kiosk. Please be aware in-person validation is not available at Bear Mountain Monday-Thursday.
DeleteHow do our multi-day tickets work?
Any multi-day ticket beyond a 2 day will display as 3 of 4 or 4 of 5, etc. This means the guest has one extra day to complete their chosen amount of days of skiing. So, for example, if a guest want to ski three days they may take a break in between. The guest is of course allowed to use their days consecutively. The ticket also does not need to be used on the "start date" as long as the days are completed by the expiration date of the ticket.
