There will be no cancellations granted for changes in circumstance which occur on or after March 15 and all requests for cancellations must be made before April 15 of the season for which the pass is valid.
Covered Products
Killington Unlimited, Midweek, College, Beast 365, Pico Unlimited, and Pico KA passes are covered under this credit policy. Spring, Mountain Biking, Golf, Adventure Center, or any other pass are not eligible for cancellations under this policy.
Cancellation Eligibility & Limitations
Any season pass holder of KPSRP may request to cancel their season pass if they have a change of circumstance not of their own choosing which prevents them from using their pass for at least 30 consecutive days. Requests for cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of KPSRP but are most typically issued for injuries, illnesses, pregnancy, job loss, or relocation. Supporting documentation (i.e., from a physician, employer, etc.) may be requested prior to approving a cancellation and failure to provide documentation when requested may result in the denial of a request.
Season passes or payments cannot be suspended temporarily. Cancellation of a pass will result in forfeiture of all associated access, discounts, vouchers, and benefits, including reciprocal Ikon Base Passes provided with the Beast 365 Pass.
Credits will not be provided for the reasons listed below which is not an all-inclusive list:
- A change in circumstance that does not prevent the pass holder from skiing/riding for less than 30 days.
- Passes purchased under fraudulent conditions.
- Injury resulting from skiing or snowboarding on closed trails or by going beyond the ski area boundary.
- Lack of snow, weather conditions, or trail/lift closures.
- Loss of pass by family member or friend for reasons noted above or for reasons in violation of our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, Indemnity and Activity Agreement (Waiver).
- Unplanned closure of the resort due to war, public health emergency or weather-related situation.
- Revocation of pass privileges by KPSRP management.
How to Request a Cancellation/Receive Your Credit
There will be no cancellations granted for changes in circumstance which occur on or after March 15 and all requests for cancellations must be made before April 15 within the season for which the pass is valid.
Requests may be made by completing our request form: Season Pass Cancellation Request. Sorry, but we are unable to accept requests for cancellation via phone or in-person.
Please allow up to 7 days for review and response to requests.
Once you have been granted a credit:
All credits will be issued as an electronic cancellation credit voucher, valid for 54 weeks from the date of issuance. This credit can be applied towards the future purchase of season passes, tickets, rentals, or lessons at Killington or Pico. At Killington, it may be used for winter or summer operations; it cannot be used at retail or food and beverage locations or for lodging. Payment vouchers are transferrable amongst family members but cannot be sold.
Alternatively, the recipient of a credit may choose to have the credit issued as a refund. A refund fee of 5% of the total amount to be credited will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds for passes purchased by credit card will only be refunded to the original credit card used to make the purchase and may take up to ten business days to post from the date the request is approved and processed.
How to Direct Guests
If a guest asks to request a cancellation please direct them to fill out the season pass cancellation request form. This can be found under the FAQ section on the website under the Winter Season Pass information. Please do not give them any guarantees or information on their specific refund other than answering question based off information from this article or the web. Refunds will be determined and/or granted by the season pass office and should not be quoted prior to them speaking with that department. Please advise it may take up to 7 days to hear back from season pass office once request is in.

Winter Only Season Pass Credits
For Killington Unlimited, Midweek, College, and Pico Unlimited passes, the following schedule will be used to determine the credit amount provided if the pass cancellation request is approved. This does not apply to Beast365 or Pico KA passes.

All-Seasons Season Pass Credits (Beast365, Pico KA)
For Beast 365 and Pico KA passes, the following guidelines will be used if the pass cancellation request is approved.
Monthly payments will be cancelled beginning the month following the date on which the change in circumstance occurs. Once cancelled, monthly payments cannot be reinstated. Credits will not be provided for previous months, regardless of usage or reason.
If the pass was paid in full, a partial credit will be issued and will be calculated by multiplying the monthly payment amount by the number of months remaining on the pass.
Summer Pass Credits
All Summer products are not included under policy and are non-refundable.
Season Pass Cancellations for Employees
Pass holders who become eligible for a season pass through employment or eligible dependent status may be eligible for a partial or full refund. Staff, Volunteers, and dependents may have more than one active pass if they choose; this process is only required if a refund is desired. Please allow 7 business days to process your request. Questions can be directed to seasonpass@killington.com. This policy is subject to change.
This process will cancel your current season pass as well as all perks, vouchers, and discounts associated with the pass; including Ikon Base passes. If you do not qualify for a credit, your purchased pass will not be cancelled.
Staff and dependents will receive a refund for their purchased passes in accordance with the schedule below:
Winter Only Season Pass Credits:
- An unused pass (gondola rides from the previous summer don’t count as usage) will receive a 100%
refund. - A used pass will receive a refund less:
- The cost of an employee friends and family ticket for any days used that were restricted for staff.
- The first 5 days used (other than restricted days) no amount will be deducted from the refund. For 6+ days used, $75.00 per day will be deducted.
All-Seasons Season Pass Credits (Beast365, Pico KA):
- Monthly payments will be cancelled beginning the month following the date in which employment begins, and cannot be reinstated. No credits are provided for previous months. If the pass was paid in full, a partial credit will be issued and will be calculated by multiplying the monthly payment amount by the number of months remaining on the pass.
Summer Pass Credits:
- An unused pass will receive a 100% refund.
- A used pass will receive a refund less:
- The first 5 days used, no amount will be deducted from the refund. For 6+ days used, 50% of the value of use per day will be deducted. (50% per greens fee, mountain bike lift ticket, scenic gondola ride, adventure center day pass).
